The Vitiligo Innovators Program™ (VIP) recognizes individuals who have dedicated themselves to having a positive impact on people living with vitiligo. Created to foster positive contributions for the vitiligo community, VIP seeks to acknowledge patients, caregivers, advocates, researchers, medical students, residents and/or healthcare providers for their extraordinary efforts to bring understanding, compassion and strength to the vitiligo community.

For a strong submission, nominators should connect with their nominee to ensure the best aspects of their work with the vitiligo community are included within the nomination.

VIP recipients should be selected based on the criteria below.

Healthcare Innovator: Healthcare professional who provides extraordinary care for people with vitiligo.Rising Innovator: Promising resident, medical student, researcher or early-career physician (up to 10 years post-residency) who focuses on vitiligo research.Community Innovator: Non-medical individual or advocate who provides support that has made a significant positive impact for the vitiligo community. 4. IMPORTANT! An independent judging panel will review your written explanation of why your nominee should be recognized. Please describe your nominee’s actions and accomplishments in as much detail as possible.

What extraordinary efforts in the last 3-5 years highlight your nominee’s commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people with vitiligo? For example, how has the nominee gone above and beyond for the community? What specific projects or initiatives has the nominee led or significantly contributed to?
